Find out what others are saying about their therapy with Gray’s Therapeutics

Julie, 31

Due to some big life changes in a short space of time, I decided to look for a therapist to help me work through some ongoing issues in my life. After initial conversations with Roz, I was instantly put at ease and I knew straight away that I wanted to work with her. She is calm, friendly, welcoming and patient, and instantly made me realise that therapy was beneficial to everyone. I have now been working with her for over 6 months, and feel that I have learnt so much about myself during my time with her. She has helped me put in place tools to allow me to be successful outside of sessions and in my everyday life, and she has really pushed me to think about what is right for me and my mental health. I would highly recommend working with Roz.

Katherine, 50

” I have been seeing Roz for nearly 2 years now, after the loss of my mother, with whom I had a strained and difficult relationship. Roz provided me with a safe and supportive environment to process the complicated emotions I was feeling. Through her gentle guidance, I was able to navigate the stages of grief and come to terms with the loss of the relationship, as well as the loss of my mother. Roz helped me identify and address the feelings of guilt and shame that were holding me back, and gave me the tools to move forward with a sense of peace and closure. I cannot express how much her compassionate and empathetic approach meant to me during this time. I would highly recommend Roz to anyone who is struggling to come to terms with the loss of a difficult relationship or a loved one.”

Jane, 34

“Roslyn has been an invaluable source of support to me as I’ve navigated a particularly turbulent period in my life. She’s helped me understand the root of my issues and helped me work through them through listening, practical exercises and homework. Roz is a wonderful, patient and kind person, and offers a very safe and judgement-free space to talk openly and honestly. Every online session I have grounds me and inspires me to be more compassionate towards myself and others. I would highly recommend therapy to anyone who is struggling with their mental health or who needs emotional support and someone to listen, and I would highly recommend Roslyn as a therapist.”

Luke, 55

“I look forward to my therapy with Roz. I don’t have anyone in my life I can talk to about anything – especially the difficult stuff. I trust her, and know I’m not being judged so I don’t need to hold back. I always come away from therapy sessions feeling better than I went in.”

Phillip, 56

“I first started working with Roz in  2020 in the middle of Covid. My marriage had ended after 20+ years and I was uprooted and isolated. In short, my life was a mess and I was on the verge of, if not, having a complete breakdown. The hardest part was to accept this was where I was and it was a very , very dark and lonely place to be. Roz provided a gentle light to guide me through a journey of self exploration. She did so in a manner which was genuine and compassionate, a trait which is difficult to find in people, let alone a therapist.

Roz for a long time became a crucial part of my survival; I would count down the days and hours to my next session. Despite having friends and family, I would often shy away from leaning on them as I didn’t want to feel a burden. Having Roz as support meant I didn’t feel that sense of being a burden , I felt listened to and understood by her. Above all else, Roz offered a sense of hope and that you will climb out of the hole that you find yourself in, and for that I will always remain eternally grateful.”

Anna, 44

“I always look forward to my therapy with Roslyn, she has helped me understand and deal with different situations by providing me strategies on how to handle them. She has also helped me understand my own internal struggles and how to improve my self-esteem through exercises in between sessions. My sessions with her are a tremendous help. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.”

“Before delving into my experience with Roz as a therapist, it may help whoever is reading this to get a sense of what Roz has helped me with.

For most of my 29 years I have been struggling with depression, low self-worth, anxiety and what seemed to be an all-encompassing anger. This anger was one that was not just directed at myself, but at my family, friends, loved ones and the world. Prior to working with Roz, I had already been in and out of therapy for years in repeated attempts to address these caustic elements in my life, with very mixed results. The one constant was the emotional buoyance-aid that sertraline represented. After the Covid restrictions ended, and I had to re-engage with the wider world, I felt I had reached an emotional impasse. I knew I couldn’t continue to exist in the depressive haze that I found myself in, but also didn’t have the tools to help myself. Thankfully, my partner suggested that I reach out to a therapist that one of her friends had been seeing and could only recommend. That therapist turned out to be Roz.

While preparing to write this testimonial I asked myself  “What has made working with Roz more effective than your previous attempts at therapy?”  What I came up with is that Roz has provided me with the tools to help myself, in an environment that allowed me to experience their efficacy firsthand. The sessions haven’t just been focused on reopening old scars, culminating in a pat on the head and a “see you next week2, rather, Roz evaluated the trauma that she identified in my past and provided tools centered on mindfulness that have helped me approach challenges, internal and external, with more self-compassion than I thought I was ever capable of.

I will close this out by saying that therapy isn’t easy. Finding that forgiveness in yourself isn’t easy either. But having someone like Roz to help guide and support you through that process can make it that little bit easier and attainable.”

Liv, 24

I was struggling with my relationship when I first started seeing Roslyn, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found her. From the first session, I felt instant connection with Roslyn. She made me feel heard and understood, even when I couldn’t find the words to express how I was feeling.
She is an incredibly empathetic and skilled therapist who truly cares about her clients. She helped me grow and make progress. I never felt judged or criticised, and I always felt safe sharing my deepest fears and vulnerabilities with her.
Over the course of our sessions together, I was able to heal and work through some of the most difficult challenges of my life. With her support, I learned to love and accept myself for who I am, flaws and all.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will help you and support you, I cannot recommend Roslyn enough. She is simply amazing.
